What are you doing tomorrow at around 12PM ET? Eating lunch? Well forget about doing that, you could skip a meal or two anyway (look, we are ALL thinking it, but they asked me to be the one to tell you, sorry).
Tomorrow at 12PM ET there is a FREE presentation being hosted by the Performance Virtual Chapter. The guest speaker is Janis Griffin, my colleague at Confio Software (makers of Ignite and IgniteVM). You can get more details about the talk by going here.
If I were you I would add in a reminder to your calendar for this event right now. No, I don’t know why the website doesn’t have that already. Gee, does everything have to be done for you? Go ahead and create one yourself and have it set to remind you 15 minutes early so you have time to join the call for the start and not be one of “those people” who are always arriving late. You know who you are.
I have been working at Confio now for…exactly one year. That’s right, today is my one year anniversary. In that time I have been repeatedly impressed with Janis’ technical acumen. She is a recovering Oracle DBA, knows her way around UNIX and a mainframe, and can figure out a solution to any puzzle tossed at her feet. You’d be wise to tune in and learn from her. I’m lucky, I get to learn from her every day. You get to spend one hour tomorrow, don’t miss it.
I have already added in my calendar. Will meet you in the meeting.
Reminder added. Diet starts now
