PASS Summit Website Is Live!

The 2009 PASS Summit website is now live. You can find it at http://summit2009.sqlpass.org/

The new website has all of the details you need for the upcoming Summit. One change you should be aware of are the new dates. We have moved from the traditional Wednesday through Friday format and the conference will now run from Tuesday through Thursday. That means the pre-conference seminars will take place on Monday and there will be post-conference seminars on Friday.

Perhaps the most exciting change is the splitting of the traditional BI session track into two tracks. One track is titled BI Architecture, Development, and Administration, and the other is titled BI Client Reporting and Delivery. The remaining tracks are the same as last year: Enterprise Database Administration and Deployment, Database & Application Development, and Professional Development. The content for the Summit sessions are taken from the results of user surveys, and this year there will be 168 technical sessions offered.

You will also find a page for submitting an abstract should you desire to speak at the upcoming Summit, the deadline for submitting an abstract is April 10th. The new website also has some info on ROI justification as well as a way to send an email to your friends (or boss) to spread the word about the upcoming Summit.

I hope to see you at the Summit this year. Stop by the PASS booth and ask for me, I would love to get the opportunity to meet anyone that is willing to admit they read this blog.
