Give Us Your Time, We Give Our Money To Charity

One of the things I enjoy about working for Confio Software is that we are encouraged to find ways to give back to our communities. Two years ago I did our very first charity product demo, where we donated $5 to Community Food Share for every person that attended. We raised over $1,000 dollars that day and immediately decided that we would do the event again. This year we have even more reason to help those in and around Boulder, CO where Confio Software is based.

For those that were not aware, this past September the Boulder, CO region suffered damage due to massive amounts of rainfall and flooding. Entire towns were washed away. Some of my coworkers in the Boulder office are still not able to return to their homes and haven’t been given any idea as to when they will be allowed back.

In keeping with our annual tradition of tying webinars with charitable causes Confio Software will host a live product demo for Ignite8 and IgniteVM on Wednesday November 6th at 12PM ET (5PM GMT). For each and every attendee (not just registrations, but for every person that shows up that day) Confio will donate $10 to the United Ways of Colorado Flood Recovery Fund.
