March Madness – SQL Azure – Summary Review

Today is the final day for my SQL Azure blog series. These past few weeks I have been able to spend a lot of time with SQL Azure. The platform has come a long way in the two years time since I first started using it and doing presentations. I am very impressed with many of the improvements that have been made, and even more impressed with the improvements in diagnostic abilities.

I created a page for the series and you can find it here. I hope to continue to update that page with additional details regarding the system views inside of SQL Azure as well as additional useful links for anyone using SQL Azure.

SQL Azure is not going to be the right choice for everything you do, but it is nice to know that the option does exist. And as a data professional it is important that you stay informed about the various options. Should you ever find yourself being asked questions about a SQL Azure database it is my hope that the information I put together in this series will give you enough of a start to feel comfortable using SQL Azure.
