Keep Calm and Recover with Backups

It’s going on midnight here so I wanted to share some advice I have for anyone on the overnight shift:

You *do* have backups, right?

Sure I’ve got backups.

I trained one of the SysAdmins how to do the monitoring and read the status reports, so if I go on holiday or get sick, I’m covered.
