A colleague forwarded this KB to me earlier this evening to ask me if I was aware of its existence yet. He was going to dismiss it because it would appear to apply mostly to games but hidden in the middle of a long list of applications is the following nugget:
The hell? This KB will “improve user experience” and provide a link when “blocking” issues occur? Well, I can’t see how anyone would ever find this to be confusing in any way, so I am going to apply this hotfix immediately because I certainly want an improved user experience and would love to know more about the link that will be provided when a blocking issue occurs.
And what is meant by “improved user experience” anyway? Is that the same as “America’s number one new hit comedy”? Or is it more like “America’s Most Exciting DBA”?
On second thought, maybe I won’t apply this hotfix. I’m not sure I want to be given a link every time a blocking issue (whatever that may mean) would occur.
