it gets harder when you have children, but as they get older it gets easier. i could probably chase my kids around the yard for an hour tonight before they dropped of exhaustion…i wonder if that is listed in that page; “chasing kids in back yard”…nope, not there. oh well, i will estimate that it burns 3,000 calories and relax with a pint of ice cream when i am done.

adding some muscle mass is key to weight loss, no question. but you need to be very, very careful how you go about getting started. swimming is a great way to get back into weight training as it offers good resistance. you can then start to add in things like push-ups, sit-ups, or even pull-ups, i always like to do exercises without any additional weights. once I am comfortable with that, and no noticable injuries, i start to pick up the weights again.
