While shuffling some books around at home today I came across the SQL 2008 Administrator’s Pocket Consultant by William Stanek. I cannot imagine the person who has pockets big enough for this book other than the Jolly Green Giant. But since I have never met Mr. Stanek I suppose it is possible he could have pockets big enough as well.
Anyway, because there are times you may not be able to get to the BOL (say, you are looking at the business end of a server rack in the datacenter), it is nice to have this manual handy. And so, I have placed it onto my Technical Library bookshelf.
