I have a new article published over at Simple Talk and I wanted to drop a quick note to point you over there to check it out. It is on SQL 2008 Audit, and gives an introduction to this new feature. Feel free to leave me a comment there (or here) I would love to have some feedback on the information.
I am thinking of implementing SQL 2008 Audit to some degree in my current shop, but do not want to simply add another layer of complexity without (1) having it required or (2) retiring something already in place. Which is my way of saying I need to learn more about the tool and see what it can really do for us.
Good article. There are so many features in SQL Server today that it is hard to keep track of them all.
