So last night I wrote about two things. First, that I was somewhat uncertain about what I will do to lead the PASS SIGs in the coming year. Second, about whale bacon (which prompted a comment from the most holy The Bloggess which has lifted my spirits quite high).
Then I remembered about how Obama promised to publish all non-emergency legislation to the whitehouse.gov site for everyone to read, review, and comment. I also realized that we have stopped using the phrase ‘President’ when referring to Obama, like he was an old college roommate or something. So I am going to make the same promise. After I get through presenting my vision to the board today I will notify the SIG leaders of my vision and then immediately post it here as well. That way anyone with even a remote passing interest in PASS can also review and comment on where we are heading.
Going forward I will do the same thing and publish anything that would be considered non-material. Because, you know, I have an NDA.
