So, I happened to see a tweet today that Joe Webb was about to present for the Charlotte SQL User group. The talk was schedule to start in ten minutes and although I was already doing three things I figured I could add in a fourth and listen to Joe talk. I dropped a quick email to Peter Shire who quickly sent me back the link for the GoTo meeting. Within minutes I was connected and was able to take part in a presentation on writing better queries. It is amazing to see how quickly Twitter can connect people that are separated by such distances, bring us together for a period of time to share ideas, and then let us go off to discover new things.
If Twitter is really for sale, and really going for $500 million, it is a bargain.
But they don’t have any way to make money yet so how can that be a bargain?
