My friend Pinal Dave commented to me during the MVP Summit last month that he wanted to see me write more comments about the updates I make to these rankings. I promised him I would put forth a renewed effort to keeping people informed, and there is no better time to start than now.
First up, Adam Machanic (@AdamMachanic) has been pushed under the relegation line in the master group. The reason for this is because he has been too quiet in the past five weeks. Adam has a wealth of knowledge despite being a horrible bowler and I want to see more posts from him in the coming weeks.
K. Brian Kelley (@kbriankelley) is being bumped up to the model group. His work since the start of the year has been wonderful, and I always enjoy reading his leadership posts. I lean on KBK for advice when it comes to security and auditing as well, and I am amazed at his current blogging output considering all the other things in his life that demand his attention right now.
Aaron Alton (@AaronTheHOBT) has been dropped from my tempdb, but I do hope that we start seeing some posts from him again real soon.
Allen Kinsel (@SQLinsaneo) has been added to my tempdb. He started blogging recently and I look forward to seeing more.
