The email just arrived and I have been awarded the MVP status for a second consecutive year. Unlike last year, I did not believe this email to be a scam, or some cruel April Fool’s Day joke.
The past twelve months has been wonderful for me as a database professional, and a big part of that has been my involvement in the MVP program. And not because I am privy to NDA type things (which can be cool), but because the SQL MVP group is made up of wonderful souls that I enjoy having conversations with on a regular basis. And the best part of that would be the fact that non-MVP’s can have those same conversations, all you need to do is find one of us at an event and just start talking. We’d love to listen and help you in any way possible.
I am honored to be invited back to the cabal for a second straight year.
Thanks.
Congrats…either way…fool or not 🙂
thanks Karen!

Sad to say though I am pretty sure this might be a April Fool’s joke???
if so, then that is a very cruel joke. very cruel.
Congrats, knew it would come through. You’ve done that much more this past year so it only makes sense! Thanks for all you do.
