Great tips here, I would like to add a few questions to consider:
What particular software do you use?
Are there specific criteria upon which I will be evaluated?
Will I be expected to work late nights or over the weekend? (Only if
“What is the typical work week? Is overtime expected?” doesn’t bring up
this information)

Thanks for sharing!

Overall, great questions and some did come up when I interviewed (successfully, I might add) as a Jr DBA. One thing I think I have learned most is when a potential employer is hiring a Jr DBA (or in general, any Junior role in the development cycle) is they are not looking for expertise. They are looking for passion (and willingness) to learn, as well as the capability to eventually become an expert. The senior DBA's are the experts; the job of a Jr DBA is to become a Senior DBA.
The Jr DBA should show this in their answers during the interview, and even lacking knowledge about the environment or development lifecycle might be okay; sometimes "outside the box" thinking, logical thought processes and a true desire to excel in the position could be enough. The interviewer is looking at your motivation, capacity, willingness and attitude; not necessarily at your expertise of the subject matter.

Don,

That really depends on the nature of the interview. But some standard questions would revolve around the type of support expected. For example, will you be expected to be available 24x7? And what is an acceptable response time? If they call and it takes you an hour to respond, is that OK?

Thank you for the questions. I would like to share my answers.

What is database?
It is a base which allows to store data.

How do people connect to the database?
Usualy by supplying the username and password.

What is the most important user of the database?
MMM, i would say the one who pays most money.

Are you active in any social networks? Do you blog?
I can use the internet.

What is you best way to relieve stress?
Relax.

Which is faster: inserting or updating.
1 create - store
2 retrive - change - store

If I asked you to learn how to make a query faster, where would you go?
I would go to the query and look why da hek is it so slow?

Have you ever built your own computer?
Can't say. What materials do i have to do it?

What motivates you?
To do what?

Our on-call policy is [blank]. Is that OK?
Of course!

How do you troubleshoot problems in your current role?
I start from simple things. For example: is the power cable plugged in?
