Global Currency

There has been talk in the news this week regarding the idea of having one unified global currency. I have no idea if that would ever come to fruition or not, but it did make me think about a lot of different sci-fi stories. Most of them refer to currency as “credits” or something similar to that. So I was thinking…

If there ever is a unified global currency, what should it be called?

My first thought was something like “Apollo”, which makes no sense but there are no wrong answers when brainstorming, so there. Of course the easy answer is to name it “points” (yeah, as in Microsoft Points). If you have any thoughts on good names, please share them below.
